Royale Slim Line White Tattoo 1" Nano Titanium Flat Iron / Hair Straightener + Royale Shampoo

I have had a Royale straightener for several years and love them. I broke the heating element on the one I had when I dropped it and needed to replace it. When I saw this new Royale, the Royale Slim Line Nano Titanium Flat Iron, I thought it looks thinner and lighter so I bought it. It is not the same, it does not work the same, it makes my hair frizzy. So right now I am still using my old Royale until I can get another classic Royale on order.

I am very disappointed in this product.

I have had a black one of these for 4 years, straightening almost daily. Absolutely wonderful. Now im ordering the red, which also goes ten degrees hotter. Great buy(: hopefully four more great years.

I bought this flat iron for my sister and she loves it!!! The curler matches her other styling tools and does an excellent job at flat ironing. She is very happy with this iron and will continue to use it to straighten her natural hair.

I used this....I don't want to slam the product....but it is not for black women. After use my hair felt dry and brittle.

I waited 3 days before the first wash...and my hair looked exactly the same after the first wash...it was like I never placed this product in my hair. I wanted more manegable hair...all I got was good smelling hair for 3 days, and additional breakage. Not much...but noticable. I thought it worked because my hair was bone straight, but I guess I just did a good flat iron.

I do not have very curly hair and I did not find this product really straightend my hair. What I think it did was condition my hair more than anything else is made if feel softer for about a 2 or 3 weeks.

Cortex Duo Mini And Large Flat Iron Set , Black

I received my Cortex Flat Iron Duo Set Black on Thursday of this week as promised and I must say that it ain't nothing but the truth yall!! It usually takes 2 hours to flat iron my medium length hair (I am African American with a good grade of hair but hasn't had a relaxer since June and it looks like I just got one with this flat iron) and it only took 30 minutes to do it this time. My hair is soft and shiney and overall nice. I also have the Cortex Platinum Flat Iron, Black which I purchased from Amazon and it works just as good too since it is the same brand. I also have the Cortex Duo Set in the Giraffe Print which I purchased from TJMAXX for 34.99 (don't sleep on TJMAXX). Anyway I would recommend this product to anyone that doesn't want to spend a lot of money but wishes to have a 100% ceramic plate flat iron that does the job as good as a high dollar CHI (which I also own but now is collecting dust:-)).

My daughter and I straighten our hair all the time and our previously purchased straightening combs broke. We were disappointed to learn that our local store had stopped selling these combs. To find them on Amazon for CHEAP was awesome!!! These combs aren't as sturdy as the combs we had bought before but so far, after several months of use, they have held up and do the job. I'll be ordering more to have as back up in case these combs are no longer manufactured.

Inifiniti by Conair 228 Nano Silver Tourmaline Ceramic Styler, White

I am on my third Conair 228 Nano Silver. I know... if it's made so crappy that it dies once a year, why do I keep buying more?

Because it's awesome, that's why. I have wavy/curly hair that's fine (not thin), and the diffuser is the best I've ever used. And I've used other ceramic dryers, but none make my hair look as good as this one does.

The problem? The first two that I had died after a little more than a year of use. One day I'll be drying my hair and BAM! I'll hear a clinking noise from the inside and then smell that familiar burning smell. And it's toast. I clean the lint trap, treat it with care, don't leave it plugged in, never drop it, etc. These beasts keep dying on me, and I keep buying them.

I recommend it, but buyer beware: It will probably crap out on you after a year.

UPDATE July 2010: I bought my third dryer Jan. 10, 2010, and it died yesterday: July 17, 2010. Started smoking and smelling like fire, and the motor stopped working. This one didn't even last a year. It's really frustrated since the diffuser that comes with it works better than any diffuser I've ever had. I wish I could find a different dryer and stick the Nano's diffuser on there.

If I could change the stars on my original review I'd knock it down to 1 star because honestly, even if it's the best dryer on the planet if it only lasts 7 months to a year what good is it?

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2011: After going through six of these dryers with the last two lasting less than four months, I'm done. It's a shame because they works so wonderfully with my hair, but there's no way that a hair dryer that's used less than 10 minutes a day should only last a couple of months. I ended up buying a Remington with a similar diffuser and it works great.

I wanted to buy a good dryer under $35.00, and all reviews pointed that a Conair dryer is a great choice. Before purchasing this hair dryer, I also researched and compared the following dryers: Conair 213X Infiniti Professional Tourmaline Ceramic Technology Ionic Styler, Black and Infiniti by Conair 223F Cord Reel Dryer. I decided to buy this one because it had an addition of a new technology called "Nano Technology" which the other two didn't have. Here is all you need to know about this dryer:

(1) Fair price, considering its function

(2) Don't expect too much from the accessories that come along with the dryer

(3) Light weight and professional look

(4) It has cool/warm/hot heat + low/high speed + cool shot functions: (a) cool is not really cool, and hot is a bit too hot (b) high speed is really loud! (c) "cool shot" button helps when you are drying your hair and you get too hot

(5) Quiet, but not so much (if you're using "high" speed, it gets really loud!)

(6) The time to dry your hair doesn't get short (I used a $11.00 hair dryer before this one, and the time I spend to dry my hair is the same)

(7) My hair looks the same, not shinier or smoother as advertised

All in all, I am satisfied with this one, but I think Conair 213X might have been a better choice.

This dryer is wonderful. It cuts my drying time in half and leaves my hair shiny. The hot setting is hot! It has a low and high setting. WIsh it had a medium, but other than that, it's great!

i just ran some electrical tape the full circumference on the inside of the comb attachment and voila! stays on now. everything else about this dryer i adore. especially how my thick wavy frizzt hairs actually looks like i spent a ton of time taming it, when in fact i did not. and it's quiet-bonus for my husband that sleeps later than i do.

This is a great hairdryer for the price. The tourmaline allows your hair to dry faster, but doesn't do damage with the heat. I find my hair much silkier and smoother using it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a lightweight, quiet and fast hairdryer.

Ceramic Hairstyling Iron

Just letting u guys know that this is a fake chi. Everything looks real but the letters on the chi wiped off the second day of use. It doesn't get as hot as a real chi either.

At first I was hesitant to purchase this iron, based on how inexpensive it was. The description mentioned that although it's a new product, it might have some slight imperfections. When I got my flat iron it was wrapped in it's original packaging, and although I tried, I could not find any signs of damage. Looks brand new. It works great too. Much better than the previous flat iron I had. I'd totally recommend this product!

BEWARE This item broke During first use. Maybe it was a lemon (someoned had a bad day on the assembly line?). But, I would double check the return policy before buying this. Amazon has agreed to refund after a few weeks of trying to contact and resolve. But, still waiting. Good luck!
