Of course, I use heat protection for my hair and a light hair gloss to achieve a healthy looking shine. I flat iron reasonably thin, 2"-3" wide strips of hair to maximize contact with the plates. I believe part of maximizing results is proper use of the product.
I would definitely recommend this flat iron. It's the best I've ever used.I purchased the Enzo Milano Gio 1" Flat iron, as my FHI iron was getting a little tired and wasn't getting the job done. I absolutely love this iron, it gets the job done on the first try, you don't need to go over your hair twice to get great results. Its heats up pretty quickly (although the FHI was quicker), but apart from that is perfect. Your hair doesn't get caught in the panels and I feel that my hair's smoother and shinier. Highly recommend it. I also own the Enzo curling rod and love it. These products are all very high quality. I got the best price on Amazon.

In addition to the cord becoming consistently tangled, this flat iron (which I did not use everyday) already 'died'.I purchased it in July of 2010 and it no longer turns on.

I purchased an Enzo Milano flat iron through Amazon and after using this product for about 4 days it was no longer working. I couldn't believe this was happening for I was very skeptical on buying this product online, but after using this flat iron for 4 days I could feel the difference in the texture of my hair, it feels a lot healthier compared to others I have used. Well, I called Amazon's customer service and told them my situation and they were very accommodating to my needs and knew I was very upset that after 4 days the flat iron wasn't working. They shipped a new flat iron to me within 2 days. Overall, I am very satisfied with the way Amazon handled my situation and will always use them when ordering online.Last year I purchased an Enzo MIlano curling iron. After it arrived I plugged it in and waited...and waited...and waited. While the light came on it did not heat up, ever! I contacted Enzo Milano CS and was told to ship it back to them in CA and they would check it out and get in touch with me. I sent it priority mail and it arrived in CA about four days later. Around four WEEKS later, I finally heard from them via e-mail and was told to call with my CC# to cover the return shipping fee, along with "warranty fees and handling charges" totaling $60! I would now have the original purchase price of $130, plus my shipping fee of $10, plus their fees of $60, totaling $200 for a curling iron that has not created one single curl, but loads of hassle and wasted $$$. I just couldn't justify spending almost half of the original purchase price just to get the new iron shipped back to me in NC! I told them to keep it. Terrible terrible experience and AWFUL customer service, DO NOT PURCHASE!
