The first time I brushed my hair I could see the difference. As a matter of fact the day after I got the brush I washed my hair and blow dried it. My hair was frizzy. I brushed one side and didn't brush the other I showed my friend and she couldn't believe the difference. I love this brush!

All the negative reviews have been from people with straight hair who use this brush wanting more shine, and it seems like it doesn't work for them. However, I have curly hair and this brush is AMAZING on smoothing the texture and yes, adding beautiful shine. My mom tried it too and I have ordered one for her as well. This is a must have for wavy curly hair!!!

I have long straight hair. However my hair becomes easily tangled. I find that the brush works well for untangling and making it feel smoother. For $20 it's well worth it, but I'm happy I didn't pay more for it.

I have straight, fine, highlighted hair and purchased this because it promises shine, which my hair is sorely lacking. It has sadly had zero effect. The brush itself is decent, but nothing you couldn't purchase for $7 at a beauty supply store. The ions it emits smell like ozone and oddly enough, after using this for awhile, every hair that I shed has some kind of odd, kinky texture to it. I'm not sure if this is the cause, but at any rate, there's been no discernible improvement at all, and it's definitely not worth $70.
