I was skeptical if these ionic hair dryers were worth the premium price, but a bad case of frizzy hair led me to try one.

The T3 Travel dryer has a swivel handle that rotates under to make it compact for travel. Why, you ask, would you bother to travel with a dryer when most hotels now supply one in the bathroom? The answer is because this dryer is so good, you won't want to use any other.

My hair did indeed dry about 30 to 40 percent faster, and it's very smooth and shiny when it's dry. The principle of the dryer is to bombard the hair with ions that essentially "explode" the water off your hair. (Coating water droplets with ions that vaporize and dispel the water.) Whatever the theory, it seems to work.

My dryer came in a nice canvas bag with room for a brush and other cosmetics with a hanger hook. Also came with an ionic brush. Not sure if this model also comes with travel bag, but I was pleased with it. Just make sure you pack it away in your suitcase each day when you travel so you won't leave it behind.

DO NOT BUY HAIRDRYERS T3 FROM AMAZON MERCHANTS. NONE OF THEM FALL WITHIN THE MFG WARRANTY AND THEY WILL BREAK AND NO ONE WILL HELP YOU. I bought one of these at a Sephora, and I was really happy with it at first. However, the THIRD time I used it, the fan became dislodged mid-blow dry and the thing stopped working. There was no way to open it up and fix it myself. I wasn't mis-using it at all, I had kept it in the box the entire time, it just fell apart. I would expect MUCH more out of a $130 blow dryer. And to make matters worse, I tried to exchange it at Sephora, and they told me to go directly through the manufacturers using the warranty. When I emailed T3, I was told I'd have to pay $15 for shipping to receive a new one. So basically, after their blow dryer fell apart, they wanted me to pay MORE money to get a new one. Thanks, but I'd rather try out a higher-quality product that stays in tact.

like many of the other unfortunate reviewers, i shelled out the money for the T3 only to have it break after the 4th use! no receipt or box...so of course Sephora said 'too bad, not our problem.' now i have to toss it in the bin. what a waste of money.

I do not recommend this product for purchase. When I received my order, I opened the box and the hair dryer handle was broken. I thought it was just poor packaging by the vendor. I contacted the vendor and they happily exchanged the broken product and sent me another. However, when I received the second hair dryer it broke in my hands in the same place the first hair dryer was broken. I was purchasing this product because I travel a lot (via car and plane) and this hair dryer is a small, lightweight version of the T3 hair dryer I use daily. While the T3 overnight hair dryer is lightweight and may dry hair (I say may because I did not turn the dryer on to test it's drying capabilities), this hair dryer did not, on 2 occasions, make it to it's first use. I would have to say that it would never survive being in luggage that is thrown around airports. I am very disappointed in the extremely poor quality of this product.
