Remington Nanosilver Slim Plate Straightener, 1"

I had a CHI straightener from Amazon that I used for a long time until it broke (if you order the CHI through Amazon, the warranty is void). I needed a new straightener but didn't feel like paying a ton of money so I chose this one and I love it!

This straightener has a digital reading and you can increase the temperature in increments of 20 degrees. It goes up to 400, but I never need to put it that high in order for it to do a good job (usually around 360). I turn it on and let it heat up while I put on my makeup and by the time I finish, it's ready to go. This straightener also has an automatic shut-off and the cord is very long.

My only complaint about this straightener would be that the buttons to change the temperature are located in an inconvenient spot, so sometimes when I'm using it, I accidentally hit the buttons. All in all, this is a great straightener and it works just as well as the CHI I used previously.

Purchased this hair straightener after reviewing all the ones on the market. This one I thought would be the best value for my money. I really do love it! I only have to straighten my hair every other day...even if I pull my hair back into a pony tail, you can't tell after I straighten my hair. It doesn't pull or strip the hair. I last cut my hair in September and to date have no split ends! I love how quick it heats up. I really do love it! I have straight hair, but I used this same product on my mom's hair, which is curly, and it worked great! Definitely worth it!

I have had this straightener for 2 years. It does a wonderful job on my hair. I can read the temperature settings and adjust them for my granddaughters fine hair. It also has an automatic shutoff which is a must!! I would recommend this to anyone.

I have both this T-studio Remington Nanosilver Slim Plate Straightener, 1" and Remington S-1007 Tstudio Tourmaline Straightener, 1 Inch...Both works very well for me. I just got this one recently but i love it as well. I tend to use only Remington hair products because they look efficiently like those other brand name products but the price is more affordable.

While I like how easy it is to control the temperature, the design of the thing is lacking a few basics. When you sit the straigtener down on the counter, if you don't balance it perfectly it falls right over. Also, the temperature gauge is right where your hand grabs the handle, so I hit the control buttons pretty often. Also, the plates don't come together tightly when I'm trying to straighten just a small or thin section of hair. When the time comes to get a new one I'll spend a bit more time doing research in hopes of avoiding these issues, if possible.
