Royale E038 Classic 1.5 Inch Purple Flat Iron

A real Royale hair straightener is pictured but what you get is nothing like the picture: 1) Plastic is cheap and light. Mine was heavy. 2) Plates are black and not gold 3) Middle controls are encased in a plastic box, not on the handle itself. 3) It's USED. You could tell by the cord. 4) It didn't straighten my hair. I've purchased 2 of these from the mall and what I got was insulting. It's pretty easy to compare quality and note the discrepancies between the two.

I left negative feedback on the sellers profile. The only 1-star review out of over 400. Mysteriously, it isn't there anymore. After leaving that review, they (Gorgeous You!) called me while I was at work to confront me about my feedback. I don't appreciate that and reported them to Amazon customer service.

I highly recommend the Royale brand. I've owned 2 previously and they are the absolute best hair straighteners. I have thick, long curly hair and they do wonders for it. I would not recommend buying one from Gorgeous You!

Best flat iron we've ever owned. My daughter has very curly hair...this is the first flat iron that has ever straightened with such ease and lasting effects. Leaves the hair feeling and looking silky smooth. Bonus is..it doesn't seem to damage the hair...if that's arguable, then it at least doesn't damage/dry it any more than any other flat iron.

It gets really hot but it takes few tmes before hair gets straight, very damaging to the hair, wouldn't recommend

I have never loved a product as much as I love this one. I have only tried two other hair straighteners, both took the curl out of my hair but leave my hair frizzy. I have very tight ringlet curls and when I leave my hair curly I need a lot of product to keep it form getting frizzy and afro-like. To give you an idea of just how curly my hair is the length will go just below my chin and after I used my Royale straightener it went halfway down my back.

I do have to take small chunks of hair and go through it two to three times but it leaves me with completely straight healthy looking hair. I never thought it would be possible.

Looks great and last all night and some times still looks good in the morning. I've honestly never been able to curl my hair and it stay but the product actually works for me. I would buy again for sure if I ever need to. Heats up really fast and it takes no time to curl. I don't use it much for straightening but I have in the past and that also works well. Love it!!
