I've had this straightener about a year and a half to two years. At first it worked great and heated up fast and didn't snag my hair or anything like everyone else says. However, after time it started to die out on me. It took much longer to straighten my hair, longer to heat up then after I had straightened it, it didn't stay that way for long. But thats expected over time. Was a very good straightener, now I'm hoping for a Sedu! =]

I had purchased a more expensive straightener that went up to 400 degrees and even at the lowest setting it fried my hair to where I am having to grow it out now. My straightener before that I had for 10 years and was fantastic, but they don't make it anymore and the cord broke.
