I love this curling wand! It honestly heats up in less then a minute, i have very thick and long hair and i find that this want is the perfect size. My curls hold and are super shiny! Not to mention the design is so cute. My best friend is a hairstylist and she is actually purchasing this same wand after using mine! She couldnt believe the price for such a quality tool. I would totally purchase this again!

I ordered this after purchasing the "Large" size Herstyler curling wand at a mall kiosk for way too much. That wand curled great (even curled my daughter's superfine, straight hair), but I wanted a fatter wand to get a fatter curl. This one works great produces a fatter curl that makes those pretty waves everyone's wearing. And the price is sooo much better! If you are wondering, I have long hair with natural wave and medium texture. This wand does not eliminate frizz, at least in my case, so I usually smooth at least the top of my hair with a flat iron before curling. You should definitely remember to wear the glove when styling don't ask me how I know. Overall, I'd recommend this to any of my friends (and have), especially for this price.

it takes 30-60 seconds to heat up!!!!!!!!!!! and it turns out with beautiful curls!!! I only have to hold the wand on my hair for 6 seconds!! and my hair is thick... its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I was excited to receive the Herstyler based on the reviews I had read. However, it did not work as expected. I was able to make one or two curls and then it went downhill from there. Kept trying to curl the rest of my hair with no success. Curls would simply NOT form! Then to make my frustration worse, I had the glove on my right hand and forgot to switch it to the left, when trying to curl my hair on the opposite side, and I accidentally burnt my left hand BADLY! A half a second touch of this on your skin will scorch it! My skin looked cooked and it blistered immediately (would have included a photo if I could). That was when I decided to return the Herstyler. I do not recommend this product based on my terrible experience. Plus, anyone new to using curlers will have a hard time with it. Trust me, you don't want to be burnt by this thing!

I do wish there was a dial for the temp but other than that it gives great results and is easy to use. I have only about and inch or two past my shoulders and I get nice curls and waves. I have the baby Herstyler too and love it. Make sure to use the glove.

Hair is left shiny and not dull. Curl last all day.
