Got this Iron for my Granddaughter and she gave it a "thumbs up!" She is very happy with the performance of this iron.

This was the 2nd Metropolis iron we had purchased. We bought the 'no frills' version from Costco 2 years ago and loved it. It was the best iron we ever had. The cord fell apart, twice, after a year and a half so we had to get another one. That should have been our sign about the quality of this iron. We bought this new digital Metropolis iron from Costco a month ago. Yes, 1 month. That is how long this one lasted before it completely quit working. These may have been good irons in the past, but stay away now, they are really just crap now.

After shopping around for something else I decided to order a second one! I share the other one with my sister and now that I am moving away from home I want one to myself. I love the design of this flat iron. My favorite feature is the titanium plates which have rounded edges and tilt to facilitate in creating curls and waves! There is a digital display with multi colored LED lights. The heat control buttons are + and , they are placed in the right location. Heats up to 400F, has a 360 turn cord to prevent tangling, heats up within 10 seconds. Mine came with a 10 year warrenty. It comes in a great metal tin.

This iron is great. I get smooth results every time and like the options on the heat levels. My hair stylist uses the Metropolis Iron and my hair is perfect when she styles it, now I can do this at home.
