I bought this kit in a mall in The Carolina's a year ago after seeing a demonstration doneon a woman who was not of my ethnicity, who has naturally straight hair, but then was given the opportunity to be demonstrated on. I am black, and my hair is relaxed, but at the time I had 3-4 inches of new growth and was very skeptical as to whether or not this or any thing would ever be able to get down to my roots to straighten them out to the same texture as the relaxed ends. I used the smallest one to straighten my roots as needed and it works well. I guess I should get their serum as well because it might help with my natural hair from reverting back in less than 4 hours after straightening it. I just use normal hair straightening serums for the time being and might invest in some from this company to see if there will be a difference. I use the biggest flat iron the most and it is so awesome. I've had the Instyler and thought that would be the best I'd get in life, but I'm glad that I was wrong. I would love to see every woman who uses any kind of flat iron to one at least one of these. It takes me less time to straighten my hair as well, which is a plus for me, despite me having relaxed hair that is still pretty thick in that state. I will NEVER use any other straightener unless something else can surpass the results I currently receive. It's well worth the money to have this for the rest of your life!
