After doing pretty extensive research on cordless flat irons, I decided to pay more for this one since it was described as being able to hold a charge for several days. I bought it for a camping trip, charged it fully before I left, and was super excited about having a flat iron that was going to last me all weekend. Very first time I turned it on the first morning of my trip, it got hot, lasted maybe 20 minutes, then died and wouldn't turn back on. It was dead all weekend. When I got home, I recharged it, tried again to make sure it wasn't a one-time thing, and it happened again. I'm annoyed that I paid way more than every other cordless flat iron I looked at for this one to last a few minutes before shutting off. Returning this item ASAP.

This straightener is AMAZING! There are SO MANY choices when it comes to hair straighteners out there, but the fact that it is cordless is what makes it so much more worth it! I go camping and on float trips with my kids several times every summer and my daughter LOVES that she can now straighten her hair in the tent before heading out to the lake or river! I love this too. The battery life seems to work really well. It easily lasted for two girls to straighten their hair the whole three days we were gone without needing to charge it (6 times of straightening)! It heats up pretty fast too! We LOVE it! :)

I purchased this for my daughter for her birthday on 9/13/11 and paid the rush shipping for a total of $109.12. I received the straightener on 9/16/11 and it looked great. My daughter opened it 9/17/11 and immediately it would not hold a charge and within 2 days you had to have it plugged in to work. She continued to use it plugged in and on 9/21/11 it cinged her hair (no way to adjust heat). On 9/22/11 I contacted them through Amazon (where I bought it & had no problems with them) and let them know the problem through the email and that my daughter had thrown away the original box and received a email on 9/22/11 with a RMA to return the item in the original packaging. I called and argued back and forth with them until 11/28/11 when they told me to return in a different box and I would get the replacement in a different box. They recieved it 12/1/11. On 12/30/11 I called them because I had not heard anything & was told it had processed the previous week and would ship out that day. On 1/6/11 they called wanting to know what address to return it to?!? I let them know of the call on 12/30/11 and they said "well it didn't". I received a email 1/6/11 saying it shipped. I recieved it 1/9/11 with no cord to plug in and no paperwork. I called them and was told they showed it shipped. Let them know what was in the box (straight iron, bag and 2 mailing bubble packs. They said well we showed it shipped. I asked to speak to a manager and was told one was not available but they would talk to one and return my call. As of now I have not recieved a call & plan on calling them shortly but have decided I will pay double somewhere else if I have to but am returning this item. I should have read other reviews because this appears to be a pattern. Again Amazon did not do anything wrong but DO NOT BUY FROM DISCOUNT JUNGLE!!!

This product was great for about a month. I have very fine short hair so a cordless doesn't have to be to powerful to work on me. I loved it a first. It heated up quickly and was smooth to use. Unfortunately, it only worked for about a month then it would no longer hold a charge. Kept flashing and then shutting off. Darn it, I liked this product. I just wish it would have lasted longer.
