Le Angelique Heat Resistant Holder

I purchased this in addition to my le angelique clipless iron. While curling my hair, I put the hot iron in the holder so that it wouldn't burn my countertop. I noticed a burning smell, so when I pulled out my iron, part of the "heat resistant" holder melted onto my iron. I could see a small part of the bottom of the holder, where the iron rests, closer towards the edge of the holder where there is a dip, had melted enough to smell the burn and see it melted. I even had to wipe of some of the "heat resistant" holder residue off my iron. Le angelique should test it with their own hot irons and if it does melt, note the limitations on their product descriptions and packaging. The idea earned two stars but didn't quite meet "heat resistance".

I use a basic store bought curling iron, nothing fancy, yet if it was left on in this holder, it melted the holder out of shape. The suction cups are too small, it would not stick even to my mirror, kept falling off. It is not well balanced even for putting on the counter top. A huge waste of money.

This goes great with the hair straightener, though you shouldn't try and keep it on the wall with nails for so long, because after a while it gets looser and your hair straightener will fall along with the heat resistant holder. I would recommend you put it on a flat surface and keep it there.

they mailed me the wrong item, but refunded the money back ... I also bought the curling iron which was fine.. but I really need the holder.. and still do.. they say they can not get the holder.. and now I can't find it anywhere... I really need the holder if I can get the holder then all will be fine.. no holder then I will no longer use this web site....my rating is only a 2 star only because I did get the curling iron... not a happy person with Amazon

It says le angelique but it isnt.. But it works just as good. Just wish it was alittle longer. I personally think the straighteners are better when you use one
