Mega Hot BBH3002 Brazilian Heat 1.5" Flat Iron

The product is OK, its not the best quality but you get what you pay for. Materials are cheap and the comb does not work (hair get stuck and is just not a good comb). Granted, I'm glad I was able to find a straightener that goes up to 450 degrees at $40. Can't beat that! I would not pay more, and I would not buy this again. But it will suffice for now. Also, it gives off a burning smell even when it has not been used, only turned on. Let's see how long this one lasts. But hey, it works and it straightens! I would not recommend to a friend, but I'm not very high maintenance so it's fine for me.

I did some research about what kind of flat iron to purchase. I had a Conair for about 1 1/2 years which had a ceramic plate and it was ok. I found this Brazillian termouline flat iron online and liked how it looked and the fact that it heated up quickly. I bought it and have been extremely happy. I had shoulder length hair but recently cut it shorter and the flat iron worked well for both hair lengths. I have thick, wavy hair but set the iron to 350 degrees and it straightens quickly and evenly. I wouldn't set the iron hotter than 350 because you might burn your hair! very happy with the product and the price!

I was looking for a professional grade flat iron that wouldn't break the bank, so I gave this one a try. I am so pleased with it!

It does an excellent job getting my hair straightened quickly and efficiently, and I love the fact that it has clear temperature settings and can be locked so you won't accidentally change the temperature or switch it off by bumping it with your fingers.

The tooth guide is awesome, and allows the flat iron to glide smoothly through your hair without having to switch back and forth with a brush or comb.

The straightener heats up quickly and does the job, but definitely not my favorite product from Brazilian Heat line. Not a bad purchase, but nothing I'm that excited about either.
