Remington S-1004 Protect & Shine Triple Protection Styling Iron

I love Remington straighteners. This is the second one that I have ordered and they both work so well. It definitely works as well as the more expensive brands. My style last until I shampoo my hair. Anyone interested in a straightener should try this one you will not be disappointed!!

I have used a few "Flat Irons" and this one seems to work well. I have not had any problems. This is a "hard to find size, and the price was great!

I can see this being a decent flat iron. However, the one I received catches your hair at the end of the plates and breaks it off, and the plates don't come together in the middle without some serious pressure.

We ordered this flat iron to replace the same model I got for our 16 yr old daughter a little over a year ago. It's an awesome flat iron all of her friends borrow it so it's gotten a lot of use. Our daughter has long, pretty straight, relatively thin hair, so I can't comment on how it would work on other types of hair, but since all her friends love to use it, I'd guess it's good on other types also.

I probably should have ordered more than one since our daughter won't use any other flat iron it's that good for her hair. I like that it has an auto shut off because she's often in a hurry when she does her hair, and I want to be confident it will shut off if she forgets to turn it off or unplug it.

It came quickly by Priority mail and was packed better than most things we receive from Amazon marketplace sellers.
