Amika Hair Iron Holder (Black)

I like the concept of this flat iron holder. It keeps the hot iron off of my makeup vanity. My only problem is that the suction cups on the bottom do not adhere well to the varnished wood surface of my vanity. I'm sure this holder would work great on a glass or ceramic-type surface.

Update, I recently purchased the Amika Clipless Curling Iron and it won't stay in this holder. I think that the curling iron is too bottom-heavy, so it tips the holder over. And since the suction does not work on wood, everything kept falling over. Good luck with yours...

Not in love with this holder. The suction cups keep undoing themselves so it isn't really holding on so well. Not worth the $.

This thing just does not want to stick to my bathroom counter! It's cool for the first few minutes while it stays stuck, but then it falls over and so does my straightener. Stinks.

It is solid and keeps the hot iron off the surface but the suction does not seem to hold well so it can tip over if it is not placed properly.

I am satisifed with the product would be better if it were weighted to compensate for the weight of the flat iron. I suspect if we added a little water to the suction, it would hold on a counter surface but we tend to move it around depending on where my daughter is using the iron.

Great product! My daughter would leave on bathroom counter with uh hanging down so it would cool. That's how she broke the last one. Now she just puts in holder and no worries!
