T3 SinglePass 1" Straightening and Styling Iron

I have fine, thin hair with a natural wave to it. I use a few passes of a flat iron to straighten/smooth my bangs and any small twists or waves in my hair from blow drying. I used an older T3 flat iron for many years and loved it because it left my hair smooth and shiny without using any hair products. After I accidentally fried my old T3 in Europe, I picked this one up thinking I would get the same quality from the same brand. However, even on the low temperature settings with light passes, this iron seems to be a lot harder on my hair and never leaves it with a polished look. After I had been using this iron for about 4 months, my hairdresser pointed out to me the places where my hair had clearly been burnt and was breaking from my flat iron -an issue I never had before. I also dislike the fact that the temperature settings are just marked 1-4, rather than what the actual temperatures are, unlike my old T3. I would never take a chance on another T3 iron after this one.

I've been an old school curling iron kinda gal (hey, it's not my fault I grew up as a teen in the 1980's), and finally got tired of trying to use a curling iron to smooth my hair, and of course, get the creases. Just a mess. I recently purchased a T3 hairdryer, and love it, so thought I would try a T3 flat iron. The product is substantial, does not feel cheap, and was quick and simple to use. It truly did take a single pass through my wavy hair to smooth it out, without overheating or frying my hair. Great product!

I bought this item and all I can say is that it is not worth it.. When it arrived it never worked, then I realized they don't give you the option to return it from Amazon easily. You have to contact the seller and you have to pay for the shipping cost in order to get a refund.. Unbelievable that they charge you for an item that was defective in order to return it!!!

Please do not purchase from this vendor. The iron does not work after the first use, it just keeps shutting off and sounds like it is shorting. It was sent to me in a direct tv box! The iron box was not sealed, it was as if they had sent me a defective product already having opened it. I have been a customer of Amazon for years and have never had an issue. I tried this iron when a friend visited me her iron was great! Purchase from a known seller such as sephora. It is as the old saying goes you really get what you pay for. I have never written a poor review but this product seller merits this...like one of the reviews said "shady"...I would have to agree! Please spend the extra and purchase an iron that works!

So I bought this flat iron at the recommendation of my hair stylist. Personally I loved this flat iron. It makes my hair feel amazing, and gets it perfectly straight. I normally have very curly hair, so this is a big thing for me. My biggest problem though is that I went through 2 flat irons in a year because it broke exactly in the same spot. For $125, the materials for the flat iron should not be as easily breakable as it is. This is coming from a person who takes very good care of her tools, and normally goes through flat irons every 3-4 years. I'm very disappointed in this product and will be looking around for another flat iron.
