I got this as a Christmas gift from my mum, and I loved it. I used it every day. But a few days ago it flat out stopped working, it won't heat up or anything. Incredibly disappointed.

This think was dead on arrival. Just plugged it in and nothing. No light indicating it was working and didn't get warm.

I got this CHI after having tried many flat irons. This is the best one by far I've used. It gets hot enough to handle my curly hair and I can straighten all my hair in half the time it took me with other straighteners. This product is worth the investment! The reason for 4 stars is that on the edges of the plates, the paint is starting to wear off and the plastic is discoloring. If you have hard to manage hair, a CHI is a must!! Just make sure you use a heat protectant with this one!

I usually use ConAir Brand of flat iron. As a matter of fact I have 2 at home. My hair is Very Dry & Curly!! The Chi Ceramic Iron works great on my hair. It has no temperature setting, but that does not matter,it heats fast and does not burn my hair or my 6yr old daughter. It has a long cord. I was able to even do a bit of curl to the end of my hair. I highly recommend this Iron. A bit pricey but works really well and a nice touch getting the free bag. :)

I love my Chi. It works great. It heats up fast (be careful it gets really hot) and flattens my hair fast. I have very curly hair and it can be hard to tame, but the Chi never has a problem. Plus this is the best price I have seen for a Chi anywhere.
