I have tried several professional flat irons: GHD, Paul MItchell, Infrashine, Bablyss, etc. I have fine semi curly hair (not straight but not real defined curls either) My hair is resistant to being straightened. This iron really works. I am able to get my hair straight. This iron is far better thank any of the other ones I have tried. The price can't be beat either. Buy from this seller NOT the mall (unless you want to pay at least 100.00 or more for the same iron.

I just received this in the mail the other day and tried it for the first time last night. I was able to straighten my hair without using a high temperature; actually I didn't even turn the dial up halfway. My hair became softer and more manageable after flat ironing it. It still has body and although my hair now has great movement it did not become limp. This is a great product for my difficult to straighten hair.

This straightener worked okay. Didn't seem to get as hot or smooth my hair as well as other HerStyler products I've owned. One of plates was loose and would catch my hair and pull it out. I am supposing I received a lemon and that was the cause of both of my problems, so I returned it. I am purchasing a replacement HerStyler flat iron, but from the same seller as my first one that I loved.
