I have a very old Hai Stik that I've had for years and years. I love it to death, but it's starting to show its age. I ordered this as its replacement and I just don't like it as much. It doesn't straighten as well and I didn't realize how much of a difference that .25 inches makes for using it to curl hair. I can force it to work, but it doesn't look as nice or hold as well. Another big downfall is that it doesn't glide as nicely through my as the Stik did.

This a solid iron with a good heat dial. It doesn't feel damaging and it's very pretty to look at, but I wish I'd just bought another Stik, which now I may do as well.

My last Hai flat iron stood the test of time and saw me through 9-years of daily use and abuse (the one with the blue plates). So when it came time to purchase another flat iron, I knew it would be a Hai iron. After seeing this LE pink classic with case, I didn't blink twice before I ordered. Yeah, should have thought twice and read reviews before I ordered. My complaints...Well, let's start off with the handle. The handle gets very hot. No, not just a little hot...VERY HOT! Also, when the plates are clamped down together, they do not touch completely only at the ends. My original Hai plates came together completely. So I find I have to run through the same areas of my hair more than once to get all my hair uniformly straight. Extra time not well spent. So do yourself a favor, pass up this cute little pink Hai and get yourself the original Hai! Don't waste your money on the LE.

For the price of this flat iron, you can't go wrong. It works great and my hair has never looked better. Silky and smooth. I washed my hair as soon as I got this in the mail and styled it at 12am.. took only a few minutes. Customer for life. I also ordered 'its a 10' hair product.. love it.
