I don't know whether it's because my hair is too long(waist length) or too thick but the tool would just not stay in place or close as advertised.
Unfortunate. It's sad that the original Hairagami is not made anymore, but these are almost as good. They are made of a slightly lighter weight than the Hairagami. Yes, it is two slap bracelets held together by fabric, but it seriously holds your hair back. I am a figure skater and this contraption is the only thing I've ever found that keeps my bun in place during rigorous spins. You have to put your hair in a ponytail first, then roll it up with the Hairagami, then tuck the ends under the bun, and then put a second ponytail holder over the bun to hold the ends in. It works.this product was nothing it said it would be. Pretty much someone took two snap bracelets and sewed them between two pieces of felt. The stitching came apart on the first use. it slips out of place and only folds one way, so creativity for hair is limited. NOT WORTH IT!
