HERSTYLER COLORFUL SEASON PURPLE CERAMIC FLAT IRON

I have to admit that I was a little leery about purchasing a straightening iron that was "valued" at $200 and I was getting it for $28. I'm used to spending anywhere from $0 to $150 trying to find the best straightening iron. I can honestly tell you that this flat iron is a steal at less than $30!

When I looked over the instructions I saw that it heats up in less than 25 seconds. I can verify that this is completely true. I'm sure you were like me and had to turn your flat iron on, walk away and take care of other things, and then straighten your hair. Not with this one. I haven't had any issues with it snagging my hair and it actually gets hotter than I need it to which is a rarity for my thick hair. The ionizer that it has really does make my hair noticeably smoother and softer.

Basically, if you're on the search for a new flat iron, your search has ended.

I have this same straightener, but Seasons 2. I bought it from the mall about 5 years ago for $175. It has been great. I share it with my teenage daughter, but it was time for her to have her own. I really didn't want to spend $175 so I started looking online. At $23 this was a steal. I am pretty sure the only difference is that this one is the original Seasons, not the Seasons 2. It doesn't open as wide as the Seasons 2. But it doesn't seem to be a problem, and that is the only difference we have noticed. My daughter is thrilled with it, and I am thrilled with the price!

I purchased this flattening iron after my friend made fun of my hair. I've gotten quite a few compliments now!

Amazon said MSRP is a whopping $150-200+, although I have seen it at many other places for under $40 as well.

HerStyler Iron Pros:

1. Heats very quickly ready within 30 seconds!

2. Ceramic plates are very smooth hair won't snag.

3. Leaves hair shiny and untangled for the rest of the night. After washing hair, hair looks about the same as before heating!

4. Very lightweight

5. Fabulous look and price.

(A Plus): Comes in beautiful, padded, matching satin bag for travel usage.

Cons:

1. No temperature control or indicator there is only one on/off button. We need about 400 degrees F for regular, good styling. But damaged hair needs about 300 degrees.

2. Will not be the best iron if your hair is very thick. It will take a long time because of its size. But hey, just get this badboy in a bigger size.

Overall this is well worth the money! Love it.

I liked the way it smoothed my hair. I've had this flat iron 3 years and one of the ceramic panels has cracked causing some pulling of my hair during usage. I would of liked to know how long this product was going to last before purchasing.
