The iron is the perfect heat. I have curly, frizzy, thick and coarse hair and it straightens it well. I has only one heat setting @ 110 F. I thought this would not straighten my hair but was pleasantly surprised! I would definitely buy this again. It also leaves my hair soft and shiny. My last iron dried my hair so this is a winner. I had tried this before at my daughter in laws and liked it so well, I decided to order it on Amazon. I feel it is as good as a Chi.

I have coarse curly hair and it takes a great straightener to get curly hair to look perfectly straight without frizz. This has been my favorite straightener since I discovered it about 3 years ago. No other straightener can get my hair to look this great. Love it.

While I like the performance, and price.

My first one faied and replaced it with a second one.

I hope this one lasts longer, the weak link seems to be in the circuit board that controls the unit.
