Daughter received this hair straightener for Christmas and she loves it. She has very thick hair and with one pass, her hair is shiny, smooth and straight.

I purchased this item for an upcoming trip to Europe. Unfortunately, the discription "dual voltage" is more than misleading. While the product description states "Dual Voltage 110v-220v," the plate on the inside of the straightener says something like "110v-120v" meaning that it is NOT acceptable for use in a 220v socket without a converter. I'm sure it's a wonderful straighener (not to metion a great deal assuming the MSRP is $350), but it did not suit my needs.

I specifically bought this iron for a trip to Europe and the ad clearly says dual voltagein the title and it is in fact not dual voltage at all! I am very disappointed and I livein Canada so it's very expensive for me to ship it back. I do not recommend this misleading product to anyone and I would stay away from this seller who lies about products!

It doesn't work as good as i had hoped it would.I can only use small strands at a time and have to go over it twice.

It takes a while but makes hair shiny and soft.I have thick wavy hair but not curly.

It does not have temperature control,after using for a while it gets really hot and you

can't touch the front any more.It has floating plates so you have to squeeze hard while going over hair.

Sometimes it pulls on hair.

I use it once or twice a week but have no damage to hair, it also lasts for 2 days.

Overall it takes time but hair looks great.

I would like to say that I am very happy with this product! I leaves my hair very shiny and straight. And also

very soft. It has not damaged my hair at all. I used a different one before and my ends were always dry and brittle.
