I ordered this comb for cutting hair. I have always just used my fingers to separate the hair but thought I would try a comb again. In the past when I have used a comb, I have trouble with the electricity thing and fly-a-ways. I usually cut hair dry so this can be an issue, especially living is such a dry climate. I cut my son's hair with it, dry, and not one time did I have to deal with stand up, fly-a-way hair. It is a keeper and worth the cost. Yes, there is a difference. This tourmaline/ion thing really does work! Makes haircutting so much easier and faster for me now.
