it is a really good flat iron but i have the silver one just like it and it gets hotter than the red one.The product is EXCELLENT for weaves. I have a piano mix of YAKI texture hair that is in a chin length bob and it is AWESOME. When I use it for Wet, I do have to go over it twice and it is dry. Don't try to dry a large section of hair, the 1 inch ceramic blade is on wide enough. The shine that I get from the blade is good. It is quick to heat up and I use the highest setting, which is 20. Don't use alot of oil on the hair, just use enough to coat the hair. Be careful of the air vents while using on wet hair, the steam pops out the vents. My conclusion is this, it works on my weave. As someone who is not going to pay over $100 for a flat iron, I think this is a nice flat iron. I don't use it on wet hair, as my hair dresser advised me to never do (even if it's made for wet hair). But this flat iron does the job for a good price here on Amazon. It takes away the frizz that my hair has and that is why I need a flat iron to begin with. So 2 thumbs up!Save 41% Off
