This is the greatest product, especially if you have thin, dry hair. A new employee at work just happened to be attending beauty college. I asked her if she knew of a product that would be gentle on my hair. She suggested K-Pak. I started using the shampoo/conditioner and within a month my hair started looking healthy. Even the general manager of the store said something about how nice my hair was looking! I would have never believed it if I had not tried this for myself. I normally don't believe what I hear, I have to try the product to see the results. This did not disappoint me in any way. I ran out after a few months (this product lasts a long time) and went back to a store brand. Big mistake! Again my hair started to get dry and dull. I bought Joico K-Pak and it turned my hair back to beautiful. If you have thin, color treated, dry, easy breakage, then this is the product for you!

I have medium long beautiful hair that I've been highlighting every 6 weeks for years. The joico K-pak series has helped me maintain beautiful, soft silky hair over the years that always looks bouncy and shiny. I don't use gel or hairspray and I try not to damage my hair too much. But the continuous coloring does weaken it. I tried so many different things on my hair to reduce the frizziness, split ends and dryness, but this is the only shampoo and conditioner that will give me great results for regular maintenance. I order these products from Amazon as it is cheaper than the salons and I usually get 2 bottles with free shipping. Works for me!

There is one other conditioner that I use about every 1-2 weeks that will provide extra repair especially right after coloring and which makes my hair extra smooth and bouncy. That is the conditioner that comes with the L'Oreal haircolor set (Excellent or Preference). I don't even use the hair color, I just buy the package to get that conditioner. It is fabulous and I wish you could buy that by itself. Now I saw that L'oreal offers some repair expert conditioner here, so I will try that out for the extra repair after getting my hair colored. The K-Pak set works good, but adding the L'oreal conditioner really creates that best look. ;)

I always thought that shampoos were pretty much the same -probably the difference was the aroma. I even thought that expensive shampoos were just a function of good marketing. How wrong I was. My scalp was drying out and very itchy. When I mentioned it -and the kind of shampoo I was using (you know, one of those big bottles that cost under $3) -to my hairdresser, he said Why not try a good shampoo? Perhaps Joico K-Pak, since Joico makes a wonderful line of products. Without going into the week-by-week improvement of my hair and scalp, I can say that, within a month, not only was my scalp free of irritation, my hair quality had improved in a way I hadn't even anticipated. In short, I can say that Yes, a good shampoo is worth the price, and Jaico K-Pack is definitely in that category!

I got it because my hair seems to be getting frizzier and frizzier it was suggested that I might need more protein in my hair and Joico is the best. After one wash I've noticed less shedding. The shampoo is pretty moisturizing very thick but a little goes a long way. I don't like that it didn't give me the clean feeling I'm used to. Even after rinsing it out it still feels like there's something in my hair but it hair helped with the frizziness a bit. And my hair was easy to detangle with the shampoo in. Haven't tried straightening my hair yet but if I notice any other differences I will update. I will mention I've only used the shampoo because it was cheapest. I would've gotten the rest but I bought it in the grocery store and I can't really justify spending 20 dollars on a conditioner I've never tried.

I thought for sure that after I tried Enjoy shampoo, I would never try another brand, until I bought Joico.

This shampoo is definately worth the price and possibly better than Enjoy, plus it's cheaper too. My long and often oily hair feels soft, light and full of volume and moisturized. There are so many shampoos (the cheaper ones) that dry out my hair, weigh it down, and make it hard to comb out because it does not dry quickly and leaves residue. Joico is definately not one of those. I would definately recomend this shampoo.
