I previously owned a chi straightener & it died. My friend recommended the babyliss flat iron, so I bit. I love it so much more than my chi!! It heats quicker & I only have to go over each section of hair once, not 2-3 times like my chi. Word of warning, I use a tile trivet to place iron on to protect my countertops from heat.

This is my second Babyliss flat iron. I purchased the pink one around May but for some reason it just stopped working after 4 months. But I love the flat iron so much that I decided to take a chance on another one. I have extremely curly hair and the temperature on this flat iron makes it so much faster to get my hair straight. The flat iron comes w/warranty but I couldn't find my receipt for the first one so I was unable to get it repaired. Keeping the receipt for this one, just in case! No regrets on my purchase!

I have naturally curly hair, but I straighten it almost every day. I had always bought cheap straighteners, and they either got shorts in the cord (Remington Pearl) or quit getting hot (all the others). I realized I had spent triple the money on cheap ones over the years than I would have had I bought a good-quality one. My husband gave me money for a new straightener for Christmas, and I was going to get a CHI. So I was telling my cousin about my Christmas presents and she said "Oh, no, don't get a CHI. You have to get a Babyliss! They are the best!" She even invited me over to try hers. She said she got hers from her hairstylist, but saw them on Amazon cheaper. I had never heard of Babyliss before, but I figured if she was that adamant about it being good, and she always looks awesome, I should try it, and I am so glad I did! I've only had this for 5 days and I'm estatic with it! It doesn't grab my hair like some of the others have and it only takes 1 pass over my hair to get it straight and frizz-free. I love the different temperature settings and the super-long cord. But most of all I love the super cute tattoo print on the outside! I am totally a Babyliss customer for life!
