I had a revlon straightener that I paid $50 for that I thought worked well. I tried the Le Angelique straightener at a booth at the county fair and I noticed the difference in my hair immediately.

This straighter will leave your hair silky soft, shiny and straight until it's washed. I love the versatality of the product because it also flips and curls hair. The heat setting knob is a little hard to get to because it's tiny but overall I love this straightener!

I've used this flat iron for three months now. I use it to straighten, crimp, and curl my hair in no time. The curls made by this iron are big and bouncy...and they last :) The iron is rather rounded which makes it good for curling--I had a flatter iron before that gave me some weird kinky looking curls.

This product also comes with a lifetime warranty, a nice box, and a padded carrying case, which is awesome because my last curling iron (not Le Angelique) broke during a plane flight. The swivel cord stays tangle-free (yay!).

The only thing I did not like about the Le Angelique iron is that the temperature setting and on and off button is on the inside of the iron, which took some getting used to, but it's really not so bad. I have really thick, really long hair and I can straighten it in 5 minutes (although my hair is fairly straight to begin with, sometimes I wake up and it looks completely terrible)...no more bad hair days! This iron heats up quickly and stays quite hot! It is favorite flat iron so far :)

This straightener is so great! My hair is very curly and usually pretty tangly, so I needed to find a really good straightener and this was it! I didn't have to go over my hair multiple times. This straightener go so hot that it would just glide through all my curls and make it very straight. It goes up to 420 degrees F and the plates seem very good. Overall I really love this product and it works so well on my hair. Amazing!

I am a bit disappointed with this Le Angelique New Pro-Select 100% Solid Ceramic Hair Straightener because when you get to the end of your hair it pulls your hair and doesn't smoothly glide off the end. I have purchased a Le Angelique before from the manufacturer direct and didn't have this problem but that product was over $100. I guess you get what you pay for since this product was about $33 from Amazon (Deep Sea). It does not seem to be the same quality.
