I have naturally coarse hair that is relaxed. My hairdresser used another high line ceramic iron and I liked the results, but I didn't like the price. She told me that the FHI was a comparable if not better iron. I bought this iron and I love, love, love the results. It works best for me if I use a salon quality shampoo and conditioner and then I only use the Silk Therapy serum: other products weigh it down and take away the silky effect of the iron. My hair turns out more humidity resistant, and I love the fact that the iron has the variable temp control. I don't have to go to the hairdresser as often, which saves me money!

My Solano iron quit working after 2 years. I did a lot of research and bought this one b/c it got a lot of good feedback. I have used my sister's Chi and this iron is a lot like it. It heats up fast and leaves my hair feeling very soft. I love the variable temp. b/c I can use it on my daughter's hair on a lower setting. gives this iron good reviews and I agree. The price and free shipping can't be beat.

I recommend getting a good flat iron. Everyone I know that got a cheap one hated it. Also, get the 1 inch even if you have long hair. The larger irons are hard to use.

The flat iron Barely got warm. I sent it back. I purchased a Remington Keratin Therapy iron instead. It's great!

I love it, I am Black and have a texturizer in my hair, it gets my hair really really straight. I tried other irons but like this one the best, it doesnt damage your hair. The iron does get very hot so you have to be careful.
