It leaves your hair feeling silky straight. It's thin (1/2")with long plates. It's nice to be able to adjust the temperature. Alot of flat irons just heat up to a high temperature. The one thing I don't like is I have to squeeze semi-hard to get the plates to close. It may be just this one. Overall, I really like it.

I ordered this after i saw the reviews when it arrived it looked very nice but it didn't work the plates wouldn't squeeze together tight enough to hold the hair to straighten it.. BEWARE i sent this back only got a partial refund!! i paid 39.74 and was told to mail it back well that cost me $8.80 they received it fairly quick but i only got a refund of 32.19 so I'm out $15.00 and some change for a straightner that was defective i will not order again from this company if it was free shipping to me it should have been free shipping back especially if it was defective! so i was out $15 for shipping for an item that was defective do yourself a favor and buy from someone else these people arent customer friendly

this flat iron is great to use on fine hair that maybe just needs certain areas to straighten. I use it on my bangs and the sides of my hair since I have

more of a bob cut so it just gives me more of a smooth look. But you could use it in any area where you need more of a straight look. I use it for touch

ups also during the day if my hair frizzes up a bit. It has a nice temperature control also. I do not use the really high heat on my hair and it still

does the job. Some people might need more of the heat turned up to get the result they need.

Like many other reviews on this flat iron i find you must squeeze the handles too hard for it to hold your hair. Once you get use to that everything else is fine. Thanks for the fast shipping.

Hi :) It's obvious Babyliss has spent more on the casing of then iron than the iron itself. I mean it's great that the iron is light-weight, but it's because of the cheap quality. It also doesn't hold/clamp down the hair very well. It gets hot.

Quality not worth the price. I returned it.
