First time I've heard about it was at a Southern Women's Show. I did a test run there and loved it. It straightened my hair nicely and gave it a visible shine. I didn't buy it there because they were asking almost $200 for it. When I came home I looked it up on Amazon. It was last season's version for under $40! I jumped at the deal. I've been using it for a few month now and I really love it. I've had others before that were heavy and awkward and I really had to work on getting my hair straight with them. Which this iron I had to do one pass and its straight! It is light and thin and comfortable to hold and use. It has a dial wheel to set the iron to whatever temperature you feel comfortable with and it only heats the plates not the whole iron. It does come with a heat protective glove but I never had to use it. Every time I use it to straighten my hair my husband compliments me on how straight and shiny my hair looks, which he has never done before when I used other irons. Hair also stays straight and doesn't get frizzy for a couple of days. If that is something you want then you found the right iron.

I've owned this flat iron for over a month now and it works great! The adjustable temperature really helps and it makes my hair straight and shiny. The price was right, too!

I have this flat iron....and I love, love, love it! It was worth every penny I spent. I live in AK and it is always damp, I can go outside in the damp weather...my hair doesnt blow like a bomb! I also own the 25mm curling iron!

This designer is high end and has amazing products! the only thing that i would change was temperature control and a little bigger. But i'm not sure that they gave me the right one because the one that got shipped to me was light blue and didn't look like the picture at all but it is still an amazing product and jose eber
