Not sure why anyone would say that this stuff flakes or is sticky. It doesn't flake and it isn't sticky. But, I've only been using it for a few years. It provides great hair control. If you comb your hair after it dries, you won't even be able to tell there's anything on your hair.

I don't see how anyone would like this stuff. It cleary flaked in my black hair so much that it looked like I had dandruff gone awry. It did not straigten my hair, as a matter of fact it did absolutely nothing but make my wallet lighter.

I like this better than a regular gel for curly hair. I don't blow dry but it helps with frizz for curls.

I like products that control frizz but leaves my hair feeling natural. This leaves my hair feeling stiff and unnatural.It does control the frizz though.
