Jilbere Palladium Flat Iron 1"

Jilbere Palladium Flat Iron 1'I just purchased the Jilbere Palladium 1" flat iron, and I have to say it is quite remarkable. It heats up within seconds of pressing the power button and does a great job at keeping hair absolutely straight from root to tip. The detachable comb is an excellent feature, as are the swivel cord and the locking mechanism. Also, the variable temperature control makes this product flexible for a variety of hair types. The greatest attribute? The price. The Palladium works just as well if not better than those flat irons costing $100 or more. You could call it a steal. I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about it. If you're tired of spending money on flat irons that let you down, look no further than the Jilbere Palladium!

This product may work for others and maybe its the products people use but it didn't work for me. The comb attachment was a epic fail. The temps do work well and you can get it close to the root, but I don't know. My ends were left fried and crappy. Hair was still frizzy. I might just need one of those rolling barrel type straighteners so I'm getting one of those instead. I've had a flat iron once that would glide and never snag on my hair, for the life of me I can't remember what it was. oh well but yea that's how i feel about this item.

Like the size and the settings. Very light weight and get hot very fast. It worked well on my hair! Like it a lot.

I have really thick, coarse hair for a white girl. This straightener gets the job done! It is quick to heat up, too, which leaves me enough time to straighten aaaaaalllllllllllllllllll of my hair!

Panasonic KURUKURU Curling Hair Dryer EH-KA60-K Black | AC100-120V/200-240V (Japan Model)

Panasonic KURUKURU Curling Hair Dryer EH-KA60-K Black | AC100-120V/200-240VThere is nothing like these hair dryers in the USA. My mom was looking around for a new hair dryer but kept on finding products that never satisfied. She mentioned to me that she wanted to get one of those old hair dryers we had when I was a kid--one of these Panasonic hair dryers from Taiwan. I got this and it is just like the ones we had back then. They are easy to use with the blower/brush combo and prevents your hair from blowing in the wrong direction. There are two modes that are "blow" and "set". It is also extremely gentle for our fine hair.

A plus with this particular model is that you don't need a power converter--just switch between 100/120 and 200/240 depending on where your location is in the world. The manual that comes with this product is mostly in Japanese--but! there is a portion in English, so be sure to read that part so that you can use this tool properly.

One downside... the price. I wish it was more affordable because this is really a great product.

I bought a Tescom hair dryer almost 10 years ago from a Japanese chain that is locally owned where I live, very similar to this one except without the extra styling attachment. That had been the best hair dryer I had owned, and the American market doesn't have any (nothing of the same quality at least) as the one I'd had. So after a good nearly 10 years, the Tescom retired itself and I needed a replacement. I did a search for the same brand and several Panasonics came up. Panasonic in Japan makes great quality products so after a little searching and looking through reviews I ordered this model mainly because of the adjustable styling brush AND it was dual voltage (I'd hate to have to get a voltage converter for something that is everyday use). This hair dryer is way better than the one I'd had for so long and I love it! Great for styling my bangs and giving my layers a little bit of body and slight curl at the ends. I would highly recommend this product to ladies who hate having to try and style their hair with a traditional blow dryer and a round brush.

I was seeking for a product that can let my hair root stand and easy to use. That is the one. Before i bought this product, I used to use a round hair brush and blow dry my hair in order to let my root stand, but it takes so much effort.

I just tried this product, it is so easy to use and styling so well. It wroth the price.

I bought this because I could not use my Conair Infiniti pro hot brush when I travel to other country. Fortunately, this performs much better than the conair hot brush. Aside from providing me a good styled-hair, my hair also shines better after using this. This product is very durable, it shows on the design. I've been using this regularly for three months now.

BabylissPro BABTM5585

BabylissPro BABTM5585I have been using this hair dryer for about 9 months, in winter on a daily basis and summertime almost daily. It is compact, light, fast, and fairly quiet. It also seems to be less damaging than the other dryers I have tried. My only issue is the buttons are at an awkward angle, and even after nine months (and 15 years of regular hairdryer use) I am still hitting the temperature button accidentally. I read that this was a problem on different websites before I bought it and unfortunately ignored the reviews. Another word of warning for those of you with straight, thin hair, as I have...this hair dryer will not add any volume! On the contrary, it tends to flatten my hair more than it is, naturally. I think it would be better suited to those with naturally thick and wavy/curly hair that like to blowdry it straight...it leaves a smooth and shiny finish.

*2012 UPDATE* After four years, my BaByliss is still working GREAT. Well worth the money, ladies and gentlemen, and you *do* get used to that button placement, it turns out!

I must admit that I have never owned a hair dryer before. My hair has always been long and free flowing and I never bothered to really take time out of my day to style it but I decided that going out with a wet head every day can't be that good for me so I finally broke down and purchased one. Once I decided to get a hair dryer the process of finding a good one took longer than I thought and finally frustrated by ambiguous information on the net, overflowing with brands I have never heard of I decided to splurge a tiny bit on a BabyBliss, a brand popular with my friends.

This is truly a wonderful product; the difference in my hair is night and day. Even a quick blow dry in the morning takes most of the wetness out and I am left with a fresh, flowing look, or taking an extra minute and attaching the provided diffuser and brushing the hair down as I dry it makes for shiny and sleek waterfall like cascade of hair. The dryer is not only made well, the back vent is raised so it doesn't get clogged and the mesh is very fine but the whole feel of the metal is almost velvety in the hands, the red color is also really gorgeous and I like how it looks in my bathroom. This is a very strong dryer; it takes me about 3 minutes or less to do my hair with it and I like the variety of 6 settings Low, Med, High for the strength of the air flow and Cool, Warm and Hot for the heat settings. It also has a Cool button that is great for locking shine and keeping my head and hair from getting too hot.

Ionic dryers are so popular now that it's hard to pick which one is good, but this one is a real winner in my eyes. It's fast, powerful and works wonders. I also enjoy seeing myself with good hair, it's almost a shock after all these years...

I've always admired how my hairdresser can blow dry my hair straight just using her Babyliss Tourmaline dryer so I purchased one for myself. I am very happy with the way it performs and is relatively quiet for a very strong dryer. In fact, it's a good idea not to position it too close to the scalp at the highest setting because it will scorch. Nevertheless, my hair has never smelled like it's burned. It dries hair really fast and straightens my curly hair even when it's very damp. The cord swivels so it's easy to move from one hand to another.

The only thing I don't like about this dryer is where the switches are. They are located right where you thumb is when holding the dryer so you may accidentally turn the dryer off or change the heat setting. Other than that is a fantastic dryer.

this hairdryer was a gift for my daughter, who is a hair dresser. this is her second babybliss pro tt. the reason she likes it so much is because of how lightweight it is as well as the heat. her first lasted 4 years, which is not bad for a hairdryer that is used all day , everyday. the price i paid for this one was considerably less than what she paid for her first at a hair show.

This was my first time buying anything but a $20 hair dryer and it was a success. I have shoulder length, fine hair and was looking for something that would make it easier to style without frying it. The BabyBliss really is a step up it does not get as hot yet dries my hair faster without frizz. It was so smooth after I used this that I keep touching it all day amazed that this was actually "my" hair done by me not the day I go to the hairdresser. As others mentioned two very minor issues one is that the buttons took a couple minutes to get used to and second that you have to both push and twist the barrel attachment a bit to get it to stay on but it's not that difficult.

Pro Beauty Tools Professional Speed Waver

Pro Beauty Tools Professional Speed WaverI have been using the speed waver for about 2 years now. I absolutely love the big curls it makes. You have to be patient and do your hair in sections to get the ideal look. I get so many comments on how beautiful my hair looks when I use this. I read some comments on it burning the hair, if you let it sit on a certain part of your hair for too long it will start smoking and give your hair a burnt smell. I suggest using a heat protector on your hair before hand and making quick krimps in small sections. I use it on the highest setting and the burning smell has only happened a few times to me. I would also recommend a great shampoo and conditioner, and actually leave the conditioner on about 10 minutes before washing it out. This is an amazing tool, but like the flat iron or curling irons, it's not great for your hair so you need to take extra special care of it while using this.

i loved this tool for the first four months i had it. with the exception of no outer coating, so i'd burn my ears here and there, but after four months i plugged it in and it won't turn on anymore. sad face. now i'm looking for a deep waver replacement

I purchased this upon recommendation from a friend with naturally wavy hair. I have very long (halfway down my back, all one length), stick-straight, fair but thick hair. I can make beachy waves in my hair with this curler/waver in about 15 minutes. Start at the bottom with most of your hair pinned up, then pull down sections and run the waver through. It takes a bit of trial and error to get the waves "right "(e.g., you must pull it through at the right lenght, then relax the hold while you wave the next section so it doesn't pull out the first "wave") but I mastered it in one/two uses. The waves/curls stay in all day unbelievable for my hair! So much better than a curling iron, when my curls/waves fall flat in an hour. LOVE it and will definitely use this! A great price at $20 too.

Go ahead and buy this product without hesitation. It gets warm very fast and it is awesome! I had a wonderful hairdo in less than 10 minutes (note: I have a lot and thick hair). This is the product to get if you love soft waves. I said: "were have you been all my life" ; )
