I have really thick hair so it takes awhile for me to straighten my hair. I have been through so many hair straighteners and this is definitely the best I have ever had. I had high expectations for this product since it was said to be amazing. It was recommended by a family member and though I had high expectations, It met everyone!!! Well worth every penny spent. I purchased one of these several years ago at a local fair and fell in love with the product. This seems like the real thing, but the only complaint I have is that the plates do not line up evenly. Near the base of the straightened, there's a gap even when I use force to try and make the plates clamp down evenly. I've gotten around this defect by only using the top end of the iron to straighten my hair but I wish they had sent me one that was made properly.

Aside from the defect, the iron heats up very quickly and I usually only have to run it through my strands once for it to do the job. I do have thin hair so this may be the reason why I don't seem to run into as many problems as those with thick and curly hair.

This product really is a waste of money. It says it can be used on "dry hair" but it always leaves my hair looking greasy and dirty if I use it on dry hair, no matter how little I use. It also doesn't spread on dry hair in the least. On wet hair, the results are slightly better, but the "shine" it gives you is more of a clumpy greasy shine instead of a natural clean shine. This was definitely a waste of money for me.

I like it but I find that the handle gets a bit too hot. It works well to straigthen my hair. I have used other straigtheners and for some reason this straightener keeps my hair looking straight for a longer period of time.

I used this flat iron for only a couple of weeks. Even with using a product to protect against heat damage this thing fried my ends so bad that I will no longer use it. While it is an expensive paperweight, I will never again subject my hair to the damage that this thing caused. If you want a product that will give you a silky finish without drying out your hair I recommend the Ion i-Pak Flat Iron which utilizes Argan vapor and works GREAT!

I needed a curling iron and when I came across this Twilight Limited Edition Ceramic Styling iron, my choice was made. I am a huge Twilight fan so I had to have it. It does create big loose waves like Bella's hair in Breaking Dawn part 1. The curling iron's barrel is approx 1 1/2" in diameter. It has a pretty black cherry colored handle and the barrell has twilight Limited Edition printed on it. It has an adjustable temperature control which on its lowest setting is 300 degrees, mid setting 375, and high setting 430. It can be set in between the temps, there is a series of 5 dots in between the 300 to 375 and 5 dots in between 375 to 430 setting. When the curling iron is plugged in it is automatically on and a red light will appear. It heats up within seconds and there is no automatic shut off. The cord is 9ft long and is softer than the usual curling iron or blow dryer cord. It doesn't kink up when you wrap it around the iron to store it. The curling iron handle is contoured and easy to use. If you want loose natural looking curls or want to create a little wave to your hair this is the perfect curling iron. With shorter layers it will give more of a curled look but still soft and natural looking. I love Twilight and love this curling iron, but if you are looking for a more pronounced tightly curled look then this isn't for you. I also think this would be a nice edition for any tween or teen girl who is in to Twilight and likes curling their hair. Check out the Twilight Limited Edition brushes, too. They are awesome.

Love this iron. I use it on my slightly damp hair when I get to work(I don't have time after my shower to get to work). 10 minutes and I have straight hair from curly damp hair! The straight stays all day even if I sweat a little. My hair would curl up a bit around my forehead when I used my chi! I would definitely suggest this iron for people on the go with little time to blow dry and then straighten. Also works on dry hair!

After reasearching this product for a while, I received it two years ago as a Christmas present. At the time, I would have given it five stars. It halved my hair straightening time, and it left my hair long and silky. Then about six months later, I was taking advantage of the wet-to-dry feature and it electrocuted me! I could feel a pulse of electricity going through my thumb, where I was holding the straigtener over the control panel. That was the last time I straightened my hair wet. It worked great until today, when I went to go straighten my hair and I heard an electrical sounding noise, and it did not turn on. If this was a $10 straightener from Walmart, I wouldn't care, but as this straightener cost me $150 from flatironexperts.com, I am very upset, considering the warranty is only one year limited, so I can't return it. Good thing I'm going to Walmart tomorrow. Hopefully I can get a cheap one that works. Don't buy this product. It works great, but it's shelf life is not worth the money.

Sorry for the other reviewer and her charred hair but we've found just the opposite. I have four daughters and we LOVE the hot tools line. We have never been disappointed. The heating control is terrific. Some of my girls have fine hair so we don't need so much heat. Another has courser hair and we need the extra high setting. Not only that, the handle is very easy to hold on to. It is small enough for all size of hands. And (I know this is long--sorry), the end of the barrel where the plastic attaches never gets hot and it is big enough to hold stable so you can control the end and curl long long pieces. Very good design overall. Don't buy something else to save a few bucks. This will last a long time. It is a great product. Thanks.

START ON LOWEST SETTING!! This is a GREAT curling iron but you MUST start on the lowest setting when you first get it. It gets incredibly hot and I thought I would be okay starting at Medium/High since I have a Chi and I have never had problems with how hot it gets... no way. I burned a huge chunk of my hair off. This has never happened before and when I talked to my stylist about it she said that this brand is a long-lasting one so it starts off with very high temperatures. WONDERFUL product but I'll say it again, START ON THE LOWEST SETTING!!!

Took awhile to get the product, but I guess there was a mistake @ the Post Office or on the sellers computer... Either way I got the flat iron... It looks kinda "cheap" unlike my friends HerStyler... Not saying it is a fake, just saying maybe I got the wrong size or something? Glad I didn't pay very much!

I was told I would receive my shipping money back and never did, I was waiting to write the review for when I received the check that I was told was coming in a separate envelope... never got it.

Anyways, it does an OK job on my hair... my hair is pretty thin and lightweight and it makes it static-like sometimes.

I was told by a friend that owns Chi and HerStyler to buy Herstyler because it is "THE BEST" ? Not sure I agree with that statement, but since I bought it, I am gonna use it! This is a really nice iron. I have dry, long curly hair and it works great! The picture however shows the box, info tablet and a small carry bag. My iron came right away but I noticed the info tablet was for the zebra curling iron, not the flat iron, I also never received the small carry bag as shown in the picture. I'm not to worried about it though, the iron works great and its hard to find any flatiron regardless of name brand or not, that works good for under $30.

Panasonic KURUKURU Hair Dryer EH-KA50-V Purple | AC100-120V/200-240V (Japan Model)

My wife is very pleased with this hair dryer. It runs at an ideal temperature and has an even and consistent output. It also works on both USA and European voltages, so ideal fro travel abroad. Her only lament is that she did not order the version with the full round comb attachment, rather than this one with a comb on just one side. I'm looking for the (full round) optional comb attachment for her.

All the instructions are in japanese. No English, but it's a hair dryer. You can snap the brush end on and off by pushing a button. The brush end doesn't hold hair very well, so using it for wrapping hair around in order to shape the hair, doesn't work very well. Even on the lower setting (there are 2 settings), it blows hard blowing fine, thin hair around as if it were just a dryer with no brush.

It has a switch to twist to select which voltage you want to use. It comes with a plug adapter attached which can be used in Europe. Remove it to use the plug for the US.

It is probably great used as just a dryer, if you detach the hairbrush part. I plan to try that , but haven't yet.

Although this dryer is on the pricey side, it seems well made and designed, and can be used virtually anywhere in the world, with an appropriate plug adapter. My wife had wanted something that would make it easier to do a little styling as she dried her hair, and with the integrated brush, and more precisely directed air flow, this dryer fills the bill. She is very happy with the way it works, both in the efficiency with which it dries her hair, and the greater degree of control she has over her hair. I can see the difference, and like the fact that it does the job with less energy. Overall the quality seem very good, and we expect it to last.

I will update when we have had it longer, or if any issues arise.
